In this explosive thriller by Janet Evanovich, bounty hunter Stephanie Plum's life is about to take a wild turn as an international crime occurs perilously close to home.

Stephanie is in serious danger before she even gets off Hawaii-to-Newark Flight 127. She is returning to New Jersey alone after her ideal vacation turned into a nightmare, and there's a loud snorer in row 22 that sounds like Sasquatch. Even worse, during the L.A. stopover, her seatmate never came back onto the aircraft. He's dead now, waiting for curbside collection in a rubbish can. Anybody might be his murderer. The phony FBI, the FBI, and guns-for-hire are all searching for the claimed picture that the deceased guy was holding.

Stephanie Plum is the only other person who has seen the lost picture. She is the target now, and she does not want to wind up in a trash can. Stephanie recreates the individual in the picture with the assistance of an FBI sketch artist. Regretfully, Ashton Kutcher appears in the second skit while Tom Cruise appears in the first. Stephanie will have to guard her back until she can write more descriptively.

Everything is going well at the Bail Bonds Agency until the bonds bus that was Vinnie's makeshift headquarters caught fire, Lula, Stephanie's wheelman, fell in love with their "largest" FTA to date, and Joyce Barnhardt, Stephanie's lifelong enemy, moved into her apartment. At that point, everyone was curious about what had happened in Hawaii.

The sexiest police officer in Trenton, Morelli, isn't mentioning Hawaii. The mysterious Ranger is not discussing Hawaii. And that's all Stephanie will say about her trip to Hawaii: it's difficult.
