Shopaholic Ties the Knot

Things are going well in Becky Bloomwood's life for once. As a personal shopper, she has the ideal job: she spends other people's money and gets rewarded for it. She lives in a luxurious apartment in Manhattan with her lover, Luke. They've even created a joint bank account, but they can't seem to agree on what constitutes a household cost for a Miu Miu skirt.

Then Luke pops the question, and life becomes quite busy. Luke's mother in New York wants the exact opposite of what Becky's mother in rural Surrey desires. Although Becky is aware that she must sit down and make a decision, she finds that tasting cakes, putting on gowns, and registering wedding gifts to be much more enjoyable. However, as time passes and preparations are made on both sides of the Atlantic, she eventually understands that she is in danger.
