Sunset Express

Teddy Martin, a well-known restaurateur, is accused of killing his wife brutally. However, he won't give up without blowing a ton of money on his defense. In order to gather evidence that Detective Angela Rossi interfered with the case, his brilliant lawyer engages P.I. Elvis Cole. Five years ago, Rossi took a serious hit during an internal inquiry; he needs a way back on the fast track. However, Cole must ascertain if she is so anxious to feign Martin's guilt in order to save her own standing. Cole and his sidekick Joe Pike start to think that someone other than the police is behind the setup as they navigate through a maze of witnesses and an even more complex web of media.
