The Locked Door

For a purpose, certain doors are locked.

Eleven-year-old Nora Davis was unaware that her father was murdering people in the basement while she was up in her bedroom doing her schoolwork.

Right up until the day the cops showed up at their front door.

Many years later, Nora leads a secluded and peaceful life as a successful surgeon, while her father serves a life sentence in prison. Her father was a well-known serial murderer, but nobody knows this. She plans to maintain it that way as well.

Then Nora finds out about the murder of one of her young female patients. The same peculiar, horrifying way that her father killed his victims.

Nora is known to someone. Someone wants her to be held accountable for this unfathomable offense. However, she is not her father's murderer. Nothing can be found on her by the cops.
