Airborn

Matt Cruse works as a cabin boy aboard the Aurora, a massive airship that transports affluent guests between cities while sailing hundreds of feet above the ocean. Matt believes he is lighter than air and imagines himself to be as buoyant as the hydrium gas that drives his spacecraft. This is the life he has always desired. He encounters a dying balloonist one night who tells him about lovely animals that float across the heavens.
