Chief Inspector Armand Gamache of the Sûreté du Quebec is looking into a diabolical conspiracy in the City of Light in Louise Penny's sixteenth book, which is currently number one on the bestseller list.

The Gamaches spend their first evening together in Paris at a restaurant meal hosted by Armand's millionaire godfather, Stephen Horowitz.
