Angels

Maggie has consistently been the Walsh family's scapegoat.In contrast to her hilariously dysfunctional sisters, Claire (the heroine of Watermelon) and Rachel (the heroine of Rachel's Holiday), she got herself a stable profession and married a good guy who loved her. Maggie made an early decision to be safe, whereas Rachel acted carelessly and Claire theatrically. That is, until she finds out that her spouse is having an extramarital affair and that her employer is about to terminate her. Her once flawlessly ordered life has all of a sudden become a perfect chaos.

Devastated, she determines that her closest friend Emily, who resides in Los Angeles, is the only person she can hope to help. There, she will tend to her wounds and make decisions about her future path in life with the aid of sunlight and long beach days.However, she quickly discovers that things in the City of Angels are not exactly what she had anticipated. She's mingling with Hollywood stars overnight and even submitting screenplays to companies.Most surprisingly, she discovers that her life doesn't end when her marriage ends. Ultimately, neither Maggie Walsh nor the City of Angels will ever be the same.
