Upon first meeting Chase Parker, my opinion was not very favourable.

I was hiding in the restaurant's restroom corridor, writing my closest buddy a note to get me out of this terrible date.

After telling me I was a bitch and overhearing, he went on to give me dating advise.

I ordered him to shut up about his own stupid business, his tall, beautiful, self-centered business, and returned to my awful date.

He sneered as he passed my table, and I watched his haughty, attractive ass return to his companion.

I couldn't resist stealing surreptitious looks at the smug jerk across the room. He winked, of course, after catching me more than once.

When the gorgeous stranger and his equally hot date suddenly appeared at our table, I thought he was going to rat me out.

Instead, he joined us and claimed to know us, giving us long, humiliating anecdotes about our made-up upbringing.

My date took a turn for the worst when it became really exciting.

Even though I knew I would never see him again, I thought about him more than I would ever confess after it was all done and we parted ways.

I mean, what were the chances I’d run into him again in a city with eight million people?

Yet again...

What were the possibilities that he would become my new, hot boss after just a month?
