Riona's cold heart needed to be warmed by someone, and I knew it. Raylan is a charming young man from the South who serves as a soldier and rancher. Above all, he enjoys a good challenge. Writing the fish out of water passages when uptight Riona ends up on Raylan's ranch was one of my favorite sections. I had so much fun coming up with inventive methods for Raylan to use his riding crop.
