A PUPPET

The Lords, a covert organization of men, believe they are in charge of the whole globe. And they do, in a sense. At an early age, everyone sold their soul to the devil in return for riches and power. Just with everything else, their degrees of success vary. Their strength increases with their willingness to serve.

The Spade brothers, who oversee Carnage, are one of them. That is the place where the Lords who disregarded their pledge go to spend the remainder of their days in chains. concealed from view as if they had never been there.

I give thanks. YOU AGREE. WE AGREE.

I was once a Lord's property, Saint Beckham Carter. I fell on my knees as if he might provide me eternal life in a world of pure wickedness, even though there was nothing sacred about him.

I gave myself over then, ready to be his, and let him have me with his "brothers." However, circumstances evolved. And what I had assumed would never be any worse turned out to be incredibly bad. Knowing that I would never be able to get back, I did the only thing I could and fled from him.

He's now located me and pulled me back to his horrible place, where he intends to take me as a pet. People won't miss me since they already believe that I'm dead. In addition, my name is simply one more on a lengthy list of people who will never be free.

He is unaware of the reason I first fled from him. It's not as if a Lord would care anyhow, as he doesn't give a damn about reason. Saint will pass away like a Lord, just as he was at birth.

I've learned from life that everyone bears the consequences of their misdeeds. And until death brings me peace, Saint will not let me forget that my place is at Carnage, serving him on my knees.
