Code figure Hélène is a captivating and touching narrative of eternal love, extraordinary sacrifice, and unwavering courage that recalls the true adventures of a lady who deserves to be a household figure. It is told in a web of interwoven timelines centered around the four code identities Nancy employed during the war.

Nancy Wake, an adventurous Australian living in Paris in 1936, meets wealthy French manufacturer Henri Fiocca and uses her bluffing skills to land a reporting job for Hearst newspaper. The Germans conquer France, and Nancy adopts a code name as soon as Henri sweeps her off her feet and persuades her to become Mrs. Fiocca.

Nancy smuggles persons and documents across the border as LUCIENNE CARLIER. Because of her success and extraordinary ability to avoid capture, the Gestapo calls her THE WHITE MOUSE. Nancy is compelled to flee France and abandon Henri due to a five million franc reward placed on her head. Her new friends at the Special Operations Executives in Britain tell her to go by HÉLÈNE when she starts training. Ultimately, after completing her mission, Nancy is airdropped back into France under the guise of the lethal MADAM ANDRÉ, where she asserts her status as one of the most formidable figures in the French Resistance, equipped with a sharp tongue, her trademark red lipstick, and the capacity to call forth armaments directly from the Allied Forces.

However, Nancy and the people she loves are more exposed the closer France goes to liberation; no one can shield her from the enemy if they discover that these four women are identical.
