Fables, Vol. 1: Legends in Exile

The legendary folklore regions were overrun by a barbaric being known simply as the Adversary, which resulted in the banishment of all the notorious folklore residents. Ensconced in an upscale residential complex known as Fabletown, these enchanted figures have established their own tranquil and covert community among the everyday residents of contemporary New York. However, when Rose Red, Snow White's party-loving sister, goes missing, it is up to Fabletown's sheriff—a Big Bad Wolf (Bigby Wolf), who has been pardoned and transformed—to figure out if Rose's former lover and infamous wife killer, Bluebeard, or her current live-in boyfriend, Jack, who used to climb beanstalks, is the murderer.
