Starfield is a legendary sci-fi television series that Elle Wittimer, a geek girl, grew up watching with her late father. She must thus join the cosplay competition when she discovers one for a new Starfield film. The award? an event featuring the actor who will portray Federation Prince Carmindor in the revival, along with an invitation to the ExcelsiCon Cosplay Ball. Elle is determined to win—that is, until her stepsisters arrive first—with the money she earned from her job at the Magic Pumpkin food truck and her father's old costume.
