Hex Hall

Sophie Mercer found out she was a witch three years ago. It has caused her some difficulties. Sophie's non-gifted mother has been as helpful as she can be, reaching out to her estranged father, a mysterious European warlock, only when needed. But Sophie's father determines what to do with her when she draws too much attention to herself for a prom night spell gone horrifically wrong: she is sent to Hex Hall, a secluded reform school for wayward Prodigium, or witches, faeries, and shapeshifters.

Sophie has quite the scorecard by the end of her first day among the freak-teens: three formidable foes who resemble supermodels, an unfulfilling infatuation on a stunning warlock, an eerie tag-along ghost, and a new roommate who also happens to be the only vampire student on campus and the most despised person. Even worse, Sophie finds out very quickly that her only buddy is the main suspect in the unusual predator assault on students.

Sophie braces herself for the greatest peril of all as a sequence of spine-tingling secrets begin to come together: an old secret organization out to exterminate all Prodigium, including her.
