The release date for the English version of 'In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl's Journey to Freedom' by Yeonmi Park is Sep 2015. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

Human rights campaigner Park realised that facing the truth about her history was necessary to be "completely free" after escaping North Korea with her mother in 2007 when she was only 13 years old. Park ultimately made it to South Korea two years later after a terrifying experience. She was forced into slave marriages by Chinese brokers, a narrative that is nasty and repulsive. Despite her initial attempts to conceal the horrific circumstances in order to fit in with South Korean culture, she eventually realised that her survival story may serve as an example for others. The author also went public with her tale in the hopes of locating her sister, who had also fled previously and disappeared into China for years.
