Light of the Jedi

Jedi paved the way for the galaxy in the High Republic long before the First Order, the Empire, or the Clone Wars.

We live in a golden period. Valiant hyperspace scouts extend the Republic's influence to the furthest stars, nations thrive under the Senate's kind guidance, and peace is upheld by the strength and discernment of the Jedi, a renowned order of Force users. The free residents of the galaxy are confident in their ability to withstand any storm, especially with the Jedi at their peak of power. However, some storms are unaffected by preparation, and even the brightest light can produce a shadow.

A system as a whole is threatened by the shower of shrapnel that emerges from a ship that is destroyed in a stunning hyperspace disaster. As soon as someone calls for assistance, the Jedi quickly arrive on the scene. Still, the extent of the emergence is enough to strain even the strongest of Jedi. A day when a single mistake might cost billions of lives awaits the Jedi, who must rely on the Force to see them through as the sky splits open and catastrophe devastates the peaceful union they helped to construct.

Beyond the Republic's borders, something genuinely deadly is growing, even as the Jedi fight courageously against disaster. The Jedi could never have imagined the true severity of the hyperspace catastrophe. A danger lurks in the shadows, far from the era's light, and it carries a secret that might make a Jedi shudder.
