Love From A to Z

A marvel is an extraordinary object. Even merely extraordinary. similar to potatoes, as they are the source of French fries. similar to the flawless fries that Adam's mother used to make for them.

Something that makes you pause is an anomaly. similar to the reality that cruel people exist in the world. similar to Zayneb's instructor, who never stops telling the class about how "bad" Muslims are.

But Zayneb, the class's lone Muslim, isn't all that horrible. She's upset.

Zayneb goes to her aunt's house in Doha, Qatar, for an early start to spring break when she faces her teacher and gets suspended for it, and he starts looking into her activist pals.

She decides to try out a new, "nicer" version of herself in a place where no one knows her, driven by the guilt of bringing her pals into problems.

Then, her and Adam's paths collide.

Adam has not attended classes since receiving his multiple sclerosis diagnosis in November. Instead, he has focused on honing his crafting skills. determined to preserve his mother's memory for his younger sister.

Adam also intends to conceal his diagnosis from his distraught father.

When they're by themselves, Adam and Zayneb pretend to be someone else while hiding their true feelings in their journals.

Until something extraordinary happens...
