For Suze, everything is going well. She is living a glamorous new life in California, full of parties and great hair days. The most attractive lad in town, Tad Beaumont, even asked Suze out on their first date. Suze is so happy that she can put aside her reservations about Tad, especially because he's not Jesse, whose ghostly appearance and seeming lack of interest in her make him unreachable.
