On the Fence

Raised by three elder brothers and a single father, sixteen-year-old Charlotte Reynolds, sometimes known as Charlie, has its advantages. Every guy she knows, even Braden, her honorary fourth brother and longstanding neighbor, is outclassed by her in terms of speed, agility, and intelligence. Charlie, however, is a complete ignorant when it comes to being a female. In order to pay off a speeding ticket, she decides to work in a trendy store, where she discovers a weird new world of cosmetics, lacy skirts, and BeDazzlers. What's more weird is that she hangs out with a male who has never seen her dominate a pickup game.

Charlie goes to her backyard late at night to escape the stress of having to pretend to be a person she's not in order to chat to Braden about her issues there by the fence dividing them. But Charlie's main issue—that she's falling for Braden—cannot be resolved by their Fence Chats. Rigid. She understands what it means to go all in, but the stakes have simply become too high if disclosing her secret means she will lose him forever.
