Guy Delisle is May 2007. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.
North Korea, formerly known as one of the "Axis of Evil," is still one of the world's most reclusive and enigmatic regimes. Caricaturist Guy Delisle was among the very few Westerners granted entry to the nation resembling a fortress at the beginning of 2001. Based on his observations on the culture and lifestyles of the few North Koreans he met, Delisle created this graphic book during his two-month stay in the country's capital while working for a French film animation firm.
Guy Delisle, who was born in Quebec City in 1966, has lived and worked in the South of France for the last ten years with his son. Working in animation for 10 years, mostly in Europe, Delisle gained knowledge in movement and drawing. Right present, he is concentrating on his cartooning. Six graphic novels—including "Pyongyang," his first work in English—have been written and illustrated by Delisle.
