Mickey Sabbath is the tremendous hero of Sabbath's Theater, a comedy work of enormous proportions. Even at sixty-four, Sabbath is a fiercely aggressive and very libidinous person; sex is both an obsession and a principle, a tool for constant disruption in his day-to-day life. But Sabbath goes on a stormy trip into his past after the passing of his longtime lover, an erotic free spirit whose tremendous taste for the forbidden matches his own. Tormented by the ghosts of those who once loved and loathed him, bereft and mourning, he orchestrates a series of absurd misfortunes that drive him to the verge of insanity and extinction.
