In honor of their mothers' legacies, the Duke of Sussex gave $1,500,000 to Sentebale, an organization he co-founded with Prince Seeiso that provides HIV/AIDS assistance to vulnerable children and young people in Lesotho and Botswana. Additionally, Prince Harry plans to contribute £300,000 to the non-profit organization WellChild. He has served as the Royal patron of WellChild for fifteen years, an initiative that enables children and young people with complex medical requirements to receive treatment whenever feasible at home rather than in a hospital.
