Take a Hint, Dani Brown

Danika Brown is clear about her goals: she wants to succeed professionally, get recognition in her field, and sometimes unwind from the stress of her employment by taking a nap. But passion? Burned the T-shirt, been there, done that. Regardless of gender, romantic relationships may be a hindrance or a drain depending on the situation. In order to get the ideal friend with benefits—someone who is familiar with the rules and the bedroom—Danie prays to the cosmos.

When stoic security officer Zafir Ansari saves Dani after a botched workplace fire exercise, it's clear that Dani, a PhD candidate, and former rugby star Zaf are meant to share a bed. Before she can clarify that fact, however, a video of the valiant rescue becomes widely popular. Zaf is pleading with Dani to join in since #DrRugbae is now trending on half of the internet. It turns out that the exposure would be quite helpful to his kids' sports charity. Lying to get kids help? Who in the world would say no?

Dani has a straightforward strategy: pretend to be in a relationship while wooing Zaf in private. The problem is that stoic Zaf is really a hopeless romantic in private, and he's desperate to taint Dani's unwavering reality. He'll soon be destroying her anxieties with a blow to the face. However, the former athlete has his own problems, and his heart has strong walls around it like, well, thighs.
