It simply kind of spilled out that I was engaged to a gorgeous billionaire.

In my defense, I was attempting to save face in front of the Mean Girl at my high school reunion, had a pretty awful hairstyle, and had consumed a really strong drink.

I'm lucky enough to know a handsome millionaire. I've been friends with Hutton French for a very long time. Despite his dislike of large social events, I phoned him from the coat closet and asked him to come play my pretend fiancé for the evening.

Other than the fact that news of our engagement travels quickly. Our relatives are overjoyed. We are the headlines. I'm taking my modest food blog to new heights.

Of course, I offer to set the record straight right away, but Hutton wants to give it a little time–the phony engagement is keeping his matrimony-mad mother and every matchmaking granny in town off his back.

To make the act seem more authentic, he even recommends that I move in with him.

We don't stop there, either.

We have kissing drills. stripping off one another. If we weren't pretending, we wouldn't dare say or do anything. because, after all, it's all for show? It's only role-playing. I don't want to get harmed, and Hutton doesn't want a committed relationship. However, the longer we pretend, the more my curiosity grows.
