Although they are no longer referred to as such, Marcos works at the nearby processing factory where he is in the business of killing people.
Marcos's father is deteriorating due to dementia, his wife has left him, and he tries not to give his income too much thought. It all occurred so fast, after all. Initially, it was said that all animal flesh is toxic to humans due to an infectious virus. The "Transition" was then started by the governments. Eating "special meat," or human flesh, is now permitted. Marcos makes an effort to focus on consignments, processing, and figures.
He then receives a present one day: a live specimen of the highest calibre. Gradually, he begins to treat her like a human being even though he knows that having any kind of intimate interaction with her is strictly banned and might result in death. He quickly starts to feel tormented by what has been lost as much as what may yet be salvaged.
