The release date for the English version of 'The 6:20 Man' by David Baldacci is Jul 2022. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

Without fail, Travis Devine gets on the 6:20 commuter train to Manhattan, where he works as an entry-level analyst at the most prominent financial company in the city, throws on his inexpensive suit, and packs his faux-leather briefcase. He dreams of being one of the ultrawealthy people that he sees outside the train window in the mornings. He spends his nights listening to the financial headlines on his phone, getting ready for another demanding day in the competitive world of finance.

Devine's boring routine is then upended one morning by an anonymous email stating that she has passed away.

The NYPD has been called to Devine's office after his former lover and colleague Sara Ewes was discovered hanging in a storage closet of his building. It is assumed that she committed herself. If that wasn't enough, Devine gets another menacing visit, this time with a confrontation that has the potential to unearth dark truths from his time in the Army unless he takes part in a covert probe of his company.

Travis will be transported by this perilous position from the seemingly glamorous lifestyles he could only see through a train window to the seedy underbelly of the nation's political and economic elites. A murderer with a distinct goal exists outside of this high-stakes scheme, and Devine is the target.
