The Arrangement

A friend suggests Natalie, a young art student in New York City, look online for a sugar daddy—a wealthy, older man who will pay her for dates and possibly provide her a monthly allowance—when she is having trouble making ends meet. Nat finds out that many girls do it. All you have to do is appear nice and listen intently to everything he says. Sexual favors are not required.

Gabe, a dashing corporate finance lawyer, appears to be the ideal fit despite being over thirty years her senior, and after just one month together, they fall deeply in love. Nat, at least, isGabe already has a family, and he doesn't plan to part from them.

Nat finds it difficult to let go when he ends things suddenly. She starts drinking a lot and follows him around, spying on his wife, monitoring him at work, and even making friends with his daughter, who is not much younger than she is. But Gabe isn't going to allow his ideal life to be ruined by his sugar baby. An agreement that was meant to be mutually beneficial turns into a nightmare of deceit, obsession, and, when a body is discovered close to Gabe's opulent Upper East Side apartment, murder.
