The Ex Talk

After working as a producer for over ten years at her local public radio station in Seattle, Shay Goldstein says she can't fathom doing anything else. But recently, she and her newest employee, Dominic Yun, who just completed a master's programme in journalism and is certain he knows all there is to know about public radio, have been at odds all the time.

Shay sends her supervisor an excited proposal for a programme when the faltering station needs a fresh idea. Two ex-partners will provide live, on-air love advise on The Ex Talk. Because Shay and Dominic already hate one other so much, their supervisor determines that they would be the ideal co-hosts. Though none of them like the thought of lying to others, the alternative is unemployment. Their listeners quickly get engrossed, and The Ex Talk quickly rises to the top of the podcast rankings in Seattle.

Their lie becomes more blatant as the episode progresses, particularly when Shay and Dominic begin to develop feelings for one another. Getting caught may spell the end for more than just their careers in a field that values the truth.
