The Glassblower

For generations, the same methods have been followed in the German community of Lauscha. While the ladies pack and decorate, the guys blow glass. However, Joost Steinmann's three children are left to fend for themselves after his untimely death one September night. Feisty Johanna approaches her job search with pragmatism, while Ruth follows her heart and wants to meet a charming young villager. But the one who has always been most enthralled with the magic—and glittering possibilities—of the art of glassblowing is the serene, dreamy Marie.
