The Honeys

Mars has always been the weaker sibling, the dark side to his bright sister Caroline. However, after Caroline's horrifying death, Mars is compelled to discover all he can about his sister, who had sadly been estranged from him.

Due to his genderfluidity, Mars is often left out of the customs and expectations of his influential family. This includes spending a great deal of time at the renowned Aspen Conservancy Summer Academy, where his sister devoted her time. But he insists on going in her place, his sorrow still raw.

Mars discovers a charming narrative that isn't intended for him. The sun-drenched celebrations and folkloric charm serve as a mask for poisonous preparations and outdated gender norms. Mars goes in search of his sister's former companions, a group of females known as the Honeys because of the beehives they keep in back of their cabin. They are both stunning and scary, and Mars is certain that Caroline's death has something to do with them.

However, the more time he spends in Aspen, the sense of deterioration replaces the pleasant mountain winds. Mars's memories start to fade under the scorching summer heat. In broad daylight, something is stalking him and playing tricks with his mind. It will devour Mars alive if he can't locate it quickly.
