When Rosemary Harper joins the crew of the ageing Wayfarer, she doesn't have high expectations. An introverted young lady who was taught from a young age to stay to herself, she has never met anybody even close to the eclectic crew of the ship, which includes Ashby, their honourable captain, talkative engineers Kizzy and Jenks who keep the ship functioning, and exotic reptile pilot Sissix.

Rosemary desires the hectic and insane lifestyle of the Wayfarer. A job of a lifetime is being given to the team, which means things are about to become very perilous.
