The Wonderland Alyss?

Alyss Heart, the recently orphaned heir to the Wonderland realm, finds herself lost and alone in Victorian London as she escapes her evil Aunt Redd via the Pool of Tears. Alyss confides with Lewis Carrol, a budding writer, about the horrific and violent events in her early life. Alyss has faith that the writer would be honest in order for someone to locate her and bring her back home. He misrepresents the tale, however. He even mispronounces her name!

Thankfully, Alyss' terrible tale is widely known to Royal Bodyguard Hatter Madigan, who is scouring the globe to locate the missing princess and bring her back to Wonderland so she may face Redd for the title of Queen of Hearts.

With its bold challenge to Wonderland stereotypes of crazy tea parties, smiling Cheshire cats, and an inquisitive young blond girl, The Looking Glass Wars unveil an epic struggle in the never-ending struggle for Imagination.
