The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove

Pine Cove, California's town doctor has chosen to replace everyone's regular antidepressants with placebos, so naturally—well, more accurately, artificially—business is flourishing at the local blues bar. The problem is that Steve, a massive marine creature with an affinity for exploding oil tanker trucks, has also been drawn to the lone slide-guitar tones. A mystery crime wave and libidinous outburst suddenly rock melancholy Pine Cove, forcing a harried policeman to suppress his own ghoulish urges in an attempt to figure out what's going on and what, if anything, can be done about it.
