Molly Gray is not your typical person. She has trouble interacting with others and misinterprets their intentions. Molly's grandmother used to explain the world to her and turn it into a set of straightforward guidelines.

Gran passed away a few months ago, and twenty-five-year-old Molly has been handling life's challenges on her own. Whatever the case, she gives her job as a hotel maid her all. Her distinct personality along with her compulsive cleaning habit and attention to manners make her the perfect candidate for the position. She loves dressing in her new uniform every morning, filling her cart with little bottles and soaps, and making sure the guest rooms at the Regency Grand Hotel are spotless.

However, Molly's neat existence is turned upside down the day she walks into the opulent and notorious Charles Black's apartment, only to discover it in a mess and Mr. Black dead in bed. Molly had no idea that her peculiar behavior has made her the primary suspect for the police before she even realizes what is going on. She soon discovers that she is entangled in a web of lies that she is unable to unravel. Luckily for Molly, friends she never knew she had team up with her to look for information about Mr. Black's true fate. But will they be able to identify the true murderer in time to stop the carnage?

The Maid delves into the concept of being both similar and unique, akin to Clue in a locked room mystery and a touching spiritual trip. It also shows that all riddles may be unraveled by tapping into the human heart.
