The Girl with the Tattoo of a Dragon

A scion of one of the richest families in Sweden, Harriet Vanger vanished from sight more than 40 years ago. Her elderly uncle is still searching for the truth about what happened to her after all these years. He assigns journalist Mikael Blomkvist, who was just put on leave due to a libel conviction, to look into the matter. Lisbeth Salander, a computer whiz and tattoo artist, helps Blomkvist. Together, they delve into a seam of unbelievable depravity and unfathomable sin in order to learn the truth about Harriet Vanger's destiny.

The Child Who Experimented with Fire

Presently the activist publisher of the magazine Millennium, Mikael Blomkvist has made the decision to publish an exposé that will reveal a large-scale sex trafficking enterprise. His friend Lisbeth Salander's fingerprints were discovered on the murder weapon, and the two reporters who were in charge of the story are killed the night before it is supposed to be published. Blomkvist launches an inquiry into the killings after becoming persuaded that Salander is innocent. In the meanwhile, Salander finds herself entangled in a deadly game of cat and mouse, compelling her to confront her troubled history.

The Young Lady Who Disturbed the Hornet's Nest

With a gunshot wound to her head, Lisbeth Salander is critically ill in the intensive care unit of a city hospital in Sweden. She is battling for her life on many fronts because, should she survive, she would be sent to Stockholm to face charges of three murders. She will need to not only establish her innocence with Mikael Blomkvist's assistance, but also track down and expose those in positions of power who have let the weak, including herself, to be mistreated and violently attacked. She will plan her own retaliation, both against the guy who attempted to murder her and against the dishonest government agencies that came dangerously close to destroying her life.
