What I discovered after my hockey team's whole season was ruined by distractions the previous year? No more making mistakes. There will be no more screwing. I need to adopt a fresh mindset as the team's new captain: ladies later, hockey and education first. It implies that, regardless of how difficult it may be, I, Hunter Davenport, am formally becoming celibate.

However, nothing in the guidebook prevents me from becoming friends with women. I'll be honest, Demi Davis, my new student, is a very nice girl. Although her whole body and her shrewd lips are very attractive, the fact that she is in a relationship makes touching her less tempting.

Aside from the first three months of our acquaintance, Demi is unmarried and seeking a new relationship.

She's also trying to get close to me.

She is difficult to avoid. For our yearlong school project, we are paired up, but I know I can resist her. Besides, we'd never get along. Her parents despise me to my core, our histories are too dissimilar, and our objectives don't coincide.

It's a really awful idea to hook up. All I need to do now is persuade my body and heart.
