The Quickie

Lauren Stillwell makes the decision to defeat her husband at his own game after learning that he is leaving a hotel room with another lady. She may be sneaking about, but her spouse is working on a different scheme. Lauren hears a scuffle outside her window after a violent quickie with a coworker, and she goes out in time to witness her husband stuffing her lover's lifeless corpse into the car's trunk. She immediately rushes to the murder site when she discovers the corpse in a small puddle of water. But Lauren Stillwell is not your average victim of injustice. She's a police officer in New York City, and this is her first case. Lauren is stuck with a secret that may destroy her life; she can't tell anybody what she witnessed and won't report her husband. As she tries to deflect attention from her husband, however, she discovers something startling: her husband did not have an affair; rather, what he did was far worse than anything she could have imagined.
