Prior to encountering a narrative twist that completely changed their life, they were cowriting literary darlings.

When their coauthored novels debuted on bestseller lists three years ago, Katrina Freeling and Nathan Van Huysen were the newest and brightest literary talents on the scene. However, after their pinnacle of achievement, they called their quits amicably, but neither disclosed their reasons to the media. With the exception of one more book that is due under contract, they have not communicated since and never intended to.

They are compelled to reconcile since they are at a crossroads in their personal and professional lives. The last thing they ever imagined doing was holed up in the little Florida town where they had written their first book, attempting to swiftly and painlessly write a new work.
