The Runaway Jury

Every jury has a leader, and it is his decision to make. A historic tobacco trial in Biloxi, Mississippi, that had hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, starts out normally before going inexplicably off course.

At least one juror is certain he is being observed, and the jury is acting suspiciously. They must be confined soon. Then a tip from a young lady who wishes to remain anonymous implies that she can foresee the more bizarre conduct of the jurors.

Is the jury being swayed or perhaps influenced in any way? Who did it, if so? More significant, however, is why?
