Being 79 gets to Eileen.
Leena has had enough of living her twenties.
Perhaps it's time for them to switch places...
Overachiever Leena Cotton goes to her grandma Eileen's home for some much-needed relaxation after she blows a major presentation at work and is told to take a two-month vacation. Eileen is going on eighty years old and recently single. She'd want a second shot at love, but there aren't many suitable males in her little Yorkshire hamlet.
Upon discovering Eileen's love dilemma, Leena suggests a solution: a two-month exchange. London is Eileen's place to live and find love. Leena will handle everything in rural Yorkshire in the meantime. However, putting themselves in one other's shoes turns out to be harder than either of them anticipated, with chatty neighbours and challenging family relationships to deal with up north and stylish London flatmates and internet dating to deal with in the city.
Leena discovers that a distant relationship isn't as passionate as she had imagined, and there's also the obnoxious, flawless, and distractingly attractive school teacher who always makes an appearance to outdo her attempts to win over the local people. Now that she is back in London, Eileen is quite popular with her new neighbours, but is her ideal match closer to home than she first believed?
