When Henry Tudor picks up the crown of England from the mud of Bosworth field, he knows he must marry the princess of the enemy house—Elizabeth of York—to unify a country divided by war for nearly two decades.

However, his wife is still in love with Richard III, his assassin; also, her mother and half of England dream of an heir that the White Queen sends into the unknown. The new monarchy may seize power, but it will never win over the hearts of those in England who are conspiring to bring the House of York back to glory.
