The Wife Stalker

Glamorous thirtysomething Piper Reynard settles down in Westport, Connecticut, a little coastal haven. He opens a rehabilitation and wellness center and joins the local yacht club. The only thing about the attractive, accomplished lawyer Leo Drakos that she finds offensive is the wedding ring on his finger. However, as Piper is well aware, no marriage lasts forever.

Waiting patiently, Joanna has been hoping that Leo, the charming guy she fell in love with all those years ago, will come out of the deep sadness that has befallen him. Even though Joanna is grateful that Leo is back to his charming, gregarious self and is once again paying attention to Evie and Stelli, the children they both adore unconditionally, she is taken aback to learn that something other than her tender assistance is the source of his newfound happiness.

Piper. Leo is completely enamored with the vacuous, New Age-y newcomer, and he is more than prepared to leave Joanna and everything they have created behind. He reassures her that she can still see the kids, of course.

Devastated, Joanna is resolved to use anything, anything, to get even with the woman who has taken both her life and her true love. Joanna discovers unsettling revelations as she delves deeper into Piper's past, but when she confides in her therapist that she worries for her ex-husband and kids' lives, her worries are written off as insanity. Will she have time to locate the evidence she needs to save them?
