His boss, Captain Morvath, has an uncontrolled hatred for the world and a mediaeval monastery rife with cannons. He plans to purge England of all its conceited ladies, beginning with the Wisteria Society. Ned has his own agenda. But one serious error has been committed by both guys. Never undervalue a female.
Cecilia is compelled to work with her attractive would-be killer when Morvath threatens the Wisteria Society in an attempt to rescue the ladies who nurtured her, so establishing without doubt that she is just as much of a scoundrel as the rest of them.
