A guy talks incoherently as he walks about in a trance in the Arizona desert. His only known companions quickly cremate his remains once he passes away in less than twenty-four hours. At a medieval location halfway across the globe, researchers uncover a startling find. Abruptly, they find themselves transported to the corporate headquarters of a clandestine global company that has created a remarkable technological advancement. This group will soon have the opportunity to enter the past rather than just study it. These men and women will soon find themselves battling for their own survival—six hundred years ago—as history is opened up to the present and the dead are awakened to the living.
