Twin Crowns

It has always been recognized by Wren Greenrock that she will eventually usurp her sister's position in the palace. She has been trained from infancy to go back to the scene of her parents' death and seize control of the lone survivor. She will stop at nothing to gain control and defend the witch community she holds dear. Or she would, if only her wild magic didn't have a knack of stirring up problems and a particular royal guard wasn't quite so distractingly beautiful.

Princess Rose Valhart is aware that authority entails accountability. She will not let a little issue like waking up in the middle of the desert with a very impertinent (and attractive) kidnapper get in the way of her royal duty; she is engaged to be married into a cruel country. She never would have thought that life beyond the royal gates could be wilder and more beautiful than it is, and the witches she has always dreaded may be the family she has never known she was missing.

We're going to learn a great deal more about one other's lives—two sisters who were reared in very different environments and split up at birth. But as the day of their coronation approaches and they both attempt to assert their birthright, the evil Willem Rathborne, the Kingsbreath, becomes more certain that neither will be successful. Who will be the one to take the throne in the end?
