Wait for You

Certain things are worthwhile to wait for.

Nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can never get over what occurred at the Halloween party five years ago—an incident that altered her life irrevocably—unless she moves thousands of miles away from home to attend college. All she has to do is make sure her left wrist bracelet remains on, make sure she gets to her courses on time, avoid drawing attention to herself, and maybe, just maybe, make some friends. I mean, it would be a pleasant change of pace. She never intended to attract the attention of the one person who may ruin the unstable future she is creating for herself, but that's the one thing she didn't need.

At six feet and three inches, Cameron Hamilton is an attractive man who can make anybody drool. He has amazing blue eyes and a special capacity to make her crave things that she thought were taken from her forever. She is aware that she should avoid him, but Cam seems to be everywhere. He exudes charisma, quips cleverly, and has a darn lickable dimple. Although it is risky to become involved with him, he reveals a part of her that she was unaware of when she finds it difficult to ignore the simmering heat that flares up everytime they are together.

There are certain things you should never say.

Avery is forced to admit that someone isn't letting her forget the night when everything changed, however, as she begins getting threatening emails and phone calls that force her to confront a history she wishes to be forgotten. Will she emerge again, this time with one less scar, when the terrible truth is revealed? Will Cam be able to assist her or will he too be pulled down with her?
