Witness in Death

Murder had an audience somewhere. The leading man is fatally stabbed in the center of the stage on the first night of the New Globe Theatre in New York, transforming the venue from a stage to a crime scene. Eve Dallas is now dealing with a well-known celebrity murder. She serves as both the lead investigator and a witness, and when it is revealed that her husband, Roarke, is the theater's owner, there is more media attention than either of them can take.
